Are you aware that the Ghana Immigration Service has a codified Code of Conduct and Reporting Mechanism?

The Ghana Immigration Service launched its Code of Conduct and Reporting Mechanism on August 10, 2023, as part of the EU-funded initiative “Strengthening Border Security in Ghana” (SBS Ghana), a collaborative effort with the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD). The Code outlines the guiding principles and values of the service and establishes a reporting mechanism through which GIS officers can be reported for misconduct. The development of the Code was undertaken in partnership with the ICMPD.
